For manufacturers operating in Southeast Asia, drainage is one of the most overlooked — yet most consequential — elements of site infrastructure. Cambodia’s tropical monsoon climate brings an annual rainy season from May to October, and intense seasonal rainfall puts any industrial park’s drainage capacity to the test. Well-engineered drainage determines far more than whether a site stays dry; it underpins uninterrupted year-round production and the security of raw materials and finished goods in storage.
That is why Manhattan Special Economic Zone has treated drainage engineering as a core component of zone infrastructure since day one, expanding capacity in step with the growth of our tenant enterprises. We are pleased to announce that construction of our latest drainage channel system has been successfully completed.

New Drainage Channels Completed, Discharge Capacity Upgraded
The new facilities further strengthen the zone’s stormwater and wastewater management network, increasing overall discharge capacity and reinforcing flood resilience during the rainy season — reducing weather-related disruption at the source and safeguarding daily production and site safety across the park.

Seven Utilities, Two Decades of Zone Management
Since the zone’s establishment, we have upheld rigorous “seven utilities and one leveled site” development standards, continuously upgrading our road networks, pipelines, power and water supply, and telecommunications. Backed by two decades of zone management experience, Manhattan SEZ offers manufacturers a well-equipped, business-ready operating environment.

Building Solid Foundations for Every Enterprise
We will continue investing in solid infrastructure — supporting every enterprise in the zone as we move forward together.
