At the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo, Manhattan Special Economic Zone joined the Cambodia Pavilion to introduce its investment environment, industrial capacity and support services to companies from China and ASEAN, opening new opportunities for regional industrial cooperation and investment.
A regional platform bringing together more than 70 countries and regions
This year’s Expo brought together more than 3,400 companies from over 70 countries and regions, with more than 50 trade and investment promotion events, making it an important platform for regional industrial collaboration, project matching and cross-border investment.
The Cambodia Pavilion presented the country’s investment environment and products, giving companies looking at ASEAN markets a single place to learn about local industrial conditions.
Answering the key questions of setting up in Cambodia
During the Expo, MSEZ met with companies considering manufacturing in Cambodia, expanding into ASEAN markets or preparing new projects, and walked them through industrial land and factory space, infrastructure and setup support.
The zone is located in Bavet, Svay Rieng Province, on the Cambodia-Vietnam border, near the Moc Bai-Bavet border crossing, with access to the ports and logistics network of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. This is one of the factors many companies weigh when planning regional production.
More than a showcase: the starting point for cooperation
Face-to-face meetings helped MSEZ better understand companies’ overseas plans and practical needs, and laid the groundwork for site visits, project assessments and further discussions.
Earlier this month, MSEZ also took part in the 9.8 CIFIT in Xiamen. The two events, held back to back, connected the zone with more companies that are evaluating overseas expansion.
