H.E. Pin Phalla, H.E. Kong Sophann and their partners recently visited Manhattan Special Economic Zone to learn about the zone’s development, operations and investment environment.

Starting from investors’ practical needs
During the visit, the MSEZ team gave an overview of the zone, its industry mix and support services, and answered the delegation’s questions on site.
From infrastructure to factory space, land and setup terms, each of these factors shapes how companies judge a zone and its readiness for new projects. The face-to-face discussion gave all parties a clearer picture of the zone’s current development and services, so that follow-up conversations can focus on practical needs.

Sharing development plans across zones
H.E. Pin Phalla also introduced the Sampeou Poun Special Economic Zone project and shared its development plans.
Exchanging planning approaches and development directions between zones helps everyone see SEZ development and operations from a wider perspective, and offers reference points for exploring possible cooperation.

Seeing the zone’s industrial capacity on site
After the meeting, the delegation toured the zone’s infrastructure and factory areas to see its development and industrial capacity first-hand.
A site visit shows the zone’s available space, facilities and overall progress more directly than documents can, and gives earlier discussions on investor setup and project delivery a concrete basis. The zone is located in Bavet, Svay Rieng Province, on the Cambodia-Vietnam border, near the Moc Bai-Bavet border crossing.

From exchange to ongoing dialogue
The visit deepened the delegation’s understanding of MSEZ and laid the groundwork for further dialogue and cooperation. For companies planning to invest in Cambodia, visiting a zone in person and reviewing its conditions and services is an important step in assessing a project.
MSEZ recently also took part in the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and continues to engage with companies and partners across the region. Companies and partners are welcome to arrange a site visit to learn more about the zone and discuss their investment needs.
