A government delegation from the Democratic Republic of East Timor recently visited the Manhattan Special Economic Zone, accompanied by Cambodian customs officials, to learn about Cambodia’s experience in economic zone planning and management.
As Cambodia’s first economic zone, MSEZ has continuously improved its infrastructure development and optimized administrative support services since its establishment. The zone has attracted numerous international companies to invest and establish operations, generating over 40,000 jobs.
During the visit, the delegation toured the zone’s layout and manufacturing facilities of resident companies, gaining detailed insights into the zone’s overall development and operational mechanisms. They expressed positive feedback on the construction achievements.
