In celebration of Labor Day and to honor the contributions of hardworking individuals, Manhattan Special Economic Zone (SEZ) officially launched its Workers\u2019 Residential Program on April 29\u2014coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the zone\u2019s founding. This long-anticipated initiative is a testament to years of planning and a firm commitment to improving the lives of local workers, aiming to provide secure, livable housing for over 30,000 employees in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was hosted by Mr. Clement Yang, Founder of the SEZ, and attended by Cambodian Minister of Labor Hengsur, Prey Veng Governor Peng Sorsa, and other distinguished guests including representatives from national ministries, the provincial council, courts, Bavet city officials, military, labor unions, and employer associations. In total, around 2,000 participants gathered to witness this important milestone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanning 100 hectares of land designated for both residential and commercial use, the development will feature a diverse range of housing options alongside future amenities such as medical facilities, schools, and childcare services\u2014laying the foundation for a well-rounded community where work and life coexist in balance. On the day of the launch, model homes were opened for the first time, drawing interest and admiration from many workers whose expressions reflected a deep sense of hope for the future. The atmosphere was heartfelt and inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
